TikTok Shop in 2026: How the Discovery Marketplace Is Becoming an AI Shopping Shelf for CPG Brands

TikTok Shop is no longer a social side channel. It is a roughly $23 billion US marketplace (eMarketer's 2026 forecast) that, as of October 5, 2026, is adding an AI Shopping Assistant and one-click Buy Direct checkout. A CPG brand's listing data, creator content, and operational scores now decide whether it is found, answered for, and bought inside TikTok, and increasingly whether it wins the follow-on search on Amazon and Walmart.

Until this month, TikTok Shop served one reader. Across the three shoppers brands now serve, the Human Shopper (about 85% of traffic), the AI-Assisted Human (roughly 10 to 15% and rising), and the Autonomous Agent (under 1% today), TikTok Shop was built almost entirely for the first: a person scrolling, watching, and buying on impulse.

The October 5 announcements put the second and third readers inside the same app. This piece looks at what that changes for CPG brands: what the listing now has to do, where claims risk sits, which categories are most exposed, and how TikTok demand lands on the rest of the digital shelf.

TL;DR

Scale is real, but every number is a third-party estimate. TikTok does not publish GMV. eMarketer puts 2025 US sales at $15.82 billion (+108%) and forecasts $23.41 billion for 2026 (+48%); Momentum Works and Tabcut put 2025 at $15.1 billion (+68%). Charm.io data reported by The Wall Street Journal on April 29, 2026 put Q1 2026 at $4.9 billion, about double the prior year. Beauty and personal care leads, supplements are the largest health and beauty segment, and food and beverage is a small but growing share.

The listing now has two readers. Product titles, descriptions, attributes, and images already drive Shop Tab and search ranking. The new Shopping Assistant, in eligibility-based testing since October 5, 2026, reportedly answers shopper questions from merchant-provided information. Creator captions and spoken scripts also feed search, which creates a visibility opportunity and a claims-risk problem in regulated categories such as supplements and oral care.

The brand problem is consistency, control, and economics, not presence alone. Absent brands cede listings to resellers. Buy Direct favors brands that can act as merchant of record via the Universal Commerce Protocol, and the reported August 2026 referral-fee increase to 8% stacks on creator commissions and fulfillment costs. As AI assistants on every surface start reading the same product facts, consistency across TikTok Shop, Amazon, Walmart, and brand.com matters more than presence on any one of them.

What TikTok Shop actually is in 2026

TikTok Shop is a full in-app marketplace. Shoppers discover products, read listings, check out, pay, track orders, and contact customer service without leaving TikTok. That makes it structurally closer to Amazon than to a Shopify storefront or a shoppable-ad format. It launched in the US in September 2023, and in January 2026 TikTok's US operations were spun off from ByteDance into a domestically controlled joint venture, which eMarketer describes as ending years of uncertainty about the platform's future.

The mix is shifting. Momentum Works' 2025 US report (published February 11, 2026) attributes 50% of US GMV to video, 36% to the Shop Tab, and 14% to LIVE (up from 10% in 2024). Secondary sources citing a Momentum Works and Tabcut H1 2026 update report that the Shop Tab reached 51.4% of attributed US GMV; we could not verify that figure against Momentum Works' own pages, so treat it as directional. The direction is still the point: a growing share of TikTok Shop sales happens on surfaces where the listing, not the viral video, does the selling.

“a growing share of TikTok Shop sales happens on surfaces where the listing, not the viral video, does the selling.”

Creators remain the demand engine. Dashboardly and Hamster Garage estimate that affiliate creator content drives 42% of US TikTok Shop GMV, although Syncly notes the figure does not trace to TikTok, eMarketer, or any named study. Momentum Works counted 15.4 million influencers and 803,500 US stores in 2025, and found that more than half of those stores recorded no sales while more than 2,000 exceeded $1 million in GMV. It is a power-law marketplace.

How big, and how reliable are the numbers?

TikTok does not publish official GMV, category, or brand-level data. Every figure below is a third-party estimate, and the methods differ.

The gap between eMarketer's $15.82 billion and Momentum Works' $15.1 billion for 2025 reflects different scopes and methods, not a contradiction to resolve. The growth rates differ more (+108% vs. +68%) because the two firms also disagree on the 2024 base. The safe reading is that US TikTok Shop sales were in the mid-teens of billions in 2025 and are tracking toward the low-to-mid twenties in 2026. Some forecasts go much further: Circana's Marshal Cohen told The Wall Street Journal that TikTok Shop could grow from about 1% of overall retail sales today to 10% by 2028. That is a projection, not an observed trend, and it sits well above other published forecasts.

eMarketer forecasts US TikTok Shop sales of $23.41 billion
in 2026, up 48%

The audience is broadening too. Consumer Edge data reported by The Wall Street Journal found that spending on TikTok Shop is growing fastest among shoppers over 45, not Gen Z. TikTok's own commissioned Economic Impact Report (PF Global) says 54 million Americans purchased a product after watching a TikTok video.

Three readers: TikTok Shop's version of the shift

Until October 2026, TikTok Shop served the Human Shopper almost exclusively. The October 5 announcements add the AI-Assisted Human and the Autonomous Agent inside the same app.

The comparison with the rest of the digital shelf matters. Amazon's Rufus, now folded into Alexa for Shopping, has more than 300 million users, and Walmart's Sparky is also live at scale. TikTok is late to the shopper-facing AI layer, but it arrives with something the retailers lack: the discovery moment itself. TechCrunch noted that building the assistant into the app appears designed to keep users from turning to outside AI tools like ChatGPT when they have product questions.

The AI layer: what TikTok announced on October 5, 2026

At Advertising Week New York, TikTok announced what it calls Agentic Commerce, starting with two features built with commerce and payment partners including Salesforce, Shopify, Shoplazza, and Stripe.

Shopping Assistant. TikTok's newsroom describes it as a conversational AI agent that understands context, remembers user needs, and guides users through their shopping journey. It is built into several TikTok touchpoints and provides real-time guidance on product details, shipping, sizing, availability, and purchasing within one conversation. Press coverage of TikTok's accompanying business blog reports that the assistant appears as a chat window on product pages inside TikTok's in-app browser and answers from information provided by the merchant. Salesforce describes its integration as a central place for enterprise brands to send their catalog to support the assistant.

Buy Direct. TikTok describes Buy Direct as an in-app checkout that lets users buy directly from a brand without leaving TikTok, including from the For You feed with one click. Coverage of the business blog reports that it uses stored payment methods and saved addresses, offers in-app order tracking, keeps the brand as merchant of record, and requires integration with the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP), the open standard Google launched in January 2026 and covered in our Universal Cart and agentic commerce analysis. Salesforce confirms that its native UCP integration will let Commerce Cloud customers support Buy Direct ads while remaining merchant of record, with a phased rollout expected to begin in Q1 2027. Salesforce's native TikTok Shop integration is slated for general availability in January 2027.

What is still unconfirmed. TikTok has not given launch dates. Reports say the tools are available through eligibility-based testing, with advertisers directed to TikTok sales partners. Coverage disagrees on geography: Forkast reports US-only testing, while other outlets say the announcement gave no market detail. TikTok has not released reliability or performance data, and has not said how Buy Direct fees compare with TikTok Shop referral fees. Any claim of broad availability is premature.

Seller-side AI is further along.

The pattern is familiar from Amazon: platform AI first automates the seller's workflow, then mediates the shopper's. For brands, the second step is the one that changes visibility. It also connects to a broader shift in where purchase intent begins, which we examine in personal AI agents and agentic commerce.

The listing has two jobs now

On Amazon, brands have spent a decade learning that the product detail page is both a ranking asset and a conversion asset. TikTok Shop is compressing the same lesson into a much shorter period, and the arrival of Shopping Assistant adds a third job: being the factual source an AI answers from.

What TikTok Shop search reads

TikTok does not publish its ranking algorithm. The table below synthesizes third-party optimization guidance, so the weightings are practitioner observation, not platform documentation.

Listing elementRole reported by practitionersCommon failure
Product titleCarries the highest weight for in-app search; front-loading the main keyword is standard adviceBrand-first or generic titles that don't match how shoppers search
DescriptionIndexed as full text; agencies such as Avenue Z advise prioritizing the first ~100 wordsGeneric phrases ("premium quality," "viral favorite") with no specifics
Category and attributesStructured attributes power filter-based search; a color missing from the attribute field won't appear in color-filtered results even if it's in the descriptionHalf-filled attribute sets
VariantsVariant naming is indexedInconsistent size or flavor naming across variants
Images and product videoFeed the listing quality tier; one guide reports a listing with fewer than five images cannot reach the "Good" tierThin image stacks, mockups that don't match the product
Creator captions, on-screen text, hashtags, spoken scriptsReported to be indexed for search and Shop Tab discoveryContent the brand does not write or control

Two points stand out. First, TikTok Shop assigns listings a quality tier, and practitioners report that thin listings are suppressed in search and recommendation feeds. Second, the For You feed still runs mostly on behavioral signals, so a strong listing will not make a product go viral. What it does is make the product findable once demand exists, and increasingly answerable when a shopper asks the assistant.

Why this matters more with Shopping Assistant

If the assistant answers from merchant-provided information, as reported, then every gap in the catalog becomes a gap in the answer. A shopper asking "is this safe for sensitive teeth?" or "how much protein per serving?" gets either a grounded answer from the brand's data or a deflection. The same attribute completeness that helps filter-based search now also decides whether the assistant can answer the question at all. Rufus taught the same lesson on Amazon: as our AI shopping assistants field guide documents, assistants reward listings that answer real shopper questions in structured, verifiable form.

“every gap in the catalog becomes a gap in the answer.”

The content the brand does not write

On Amazon, the brand or its vendor team controls the detail page. On TikTok Shop, a meaningful share of the words attached to a product are written and spoken by creators. If captions, on-screen text, and scripts are indexed for search, as practitioners report, creators are effectively co-authoring the product's searchable description. That is a visibility asset when creators use the right language, and a liability when they make claims the brand cannot make.

Claims risk: the regulated-category problem

The categories growing fastest on TikTok Shop, including supplements, oral care, and personal care, are also the ones with the strictest claims rules. That combination makes claims governance a first-order TikTok Shop issue, not a legal footnote.

Supplements. Third-party compliance guides describe a gated category. Sellers must complete category qualification, and many supplement categories are invite-only, with documentation such as FDA facility registration, cGMP certification, and accredited lab test reports. Disease claims ("treats," "cures," "prevents") are prohibited, consistent with FDA rules, and guides report that TikTok also flags some structure/function claims the FDA would allow. Weight-loss supplements, sexual enhancement supplements, and certain ingredients are banned. Guides citing TikTok's 2026 policy updates report that mentioning GLP-1 agonists in supplement marketing is now explicitly prohibited, and that TikTok's Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Advertising Policy was updated in August 2026. PPC Land reports that TikTok Shop gates 16 category-level and 13 product-level restricted categories behind prior documentation approval, with most applications reviewed in roughly six days.

Oral care. Whitening is the category's engine. Trenz.ai's ranking of US TikTok Shop nasal and oral care best sellers for April 2026 describes a roughly $15 million monthly category in which five of the top 10 SKUs were whitening strips or whitening mouthwash, led by a $14.99 purple whitening strip at $1.94 million. Many of these products are marketed as "peroxide-free," "enamel-safe," or "color-correcting." These are cosmetic claims that sit close to the line between cosmetic and drug, or therapeutic, language. When a creator says a product "fixes sensitivity" or "repairs enamel," the brand inherits the risk even though it did not write the words.

Five of the top 10 US TikTok Shop oral care best sellers in April 2026
were whitening strips or whitening mouthwash

OTC and personal care. The same dynamic applies to any product where efficacy language has regulatory weight: anti-dandruff, acne, sun care, pain relief. Creator content is fast, high-volume, and hard to pre-clear.

The structural issue is that claims risk on TikTok Shop is distributed. On a retailer PDP, a brand's regulatory team approves one set of copy. On TikTok Shop, the listing is only one of many texts attached to the product, and the others are produced by hundreds or thousands of affiliates. If search and AI systems read that text, a non-compliant creator claim can shape both what ranks and, potentially, what an assistant repeats. The link between approved claims and AI visibility, explored in our analysis of product claims and AI visibility, becomes harder to hold when much of the claims language is written outside the brand.

Category dynamics: where TikTok Shop matters most

Category data on TikTok Shop is entirely third-party and definitions vary (Tabcut's "beauty and personal care" is not NielsenIQ's "health and beauty"). The figures are directional.

Beauty and personal care. This is TikTok Shop's center of gravity. eMarketer, citing NielsenIQ, reports that TikTok Shop is already the fourth-largest US health and beauty ecommerce retailer, with category dollar sales up 107.7% year over year. NielsenIQ data shared with NutraIngredients puts TikTok Shop's total health and beauty sales above $4.4 billion for the 52 weeks to February 2026, reaching nearly 10% of US households. Even so, eMarketer, citing NielsenIQ data in June 2026, puts TikTok Shop's share of the US beauty and personal care segment at 1.8%, against 23% for Amazon. TikTok Shop is a fast-growing, high-influence channel, not yet a dominant share-holder.

Health, wellness, and supplements. Supplements, not skincare, are now TikTok Shop's largest health and beauty segment, which makes this the most important CPG signal in the data. NielsenIQ notes that vitamins and supplements are one of the fastest-growing health and beauty categories overall, with sales up 11.0% versus 8.4% for the category as a whole, and that TikTok Shop is a major contributor to that growth.

Food and beverage. The narrative is louder than the numbers. Food is about 7% of tracked GMV, and one analysis notes that food and drink Shopify stores adopt the TikTok Pixel at roughly the all-Shopify baseline. What works is visual novelty (freeze-dried candy, international snacks, swicy flavors), functional beverages, and condiments with a story. For mainstream snack and grocery brands, TikTok Shop's value is less about direct GMV and more about creating the trend that sells through at Amazon, Walmart, and in store, a pattern consistent with our snacking Q1 2026 evidence report. TikTok Shop's product subscriptions feature, launched to select US sellers in late June 2026 in beauty, food, and health, is the development to watch for replenishable formats.

Household and pet. Cleaning products benefit from demonstration content, but the categories are smaller. For pet, we found no reliable third-party evidence that TikTok Shop is a leading channel, which is itself a finding. Pet nutrition purchasing remains concentrated in subscription and retailer channels, as our pet nutrition Q1 2026 evidence report describes, and TikTok functions mainly as a discovery and community surface for the category.

Alcohol. Compliance guides list alcohol among prohibited products on TikTok Shop US. Beverage alcohol brands can build awareness on TikTok but convert elsewhere.

How TikTok demand spills over to Amazon and Walmart

The most important commercial fact about TikTok Shop for many CPG brands may be what happens off TikTok.

The Amazon halo. SmartScout analyzed the top 10,000 Amazon brands and found that brands with any TikTok Shop presence grew Amazon revenue about 22% year over year, brands doing $450,000+ a month on TikTok Shop grew closer to 30%, and brands with no TikTok Shop were flat in the mid-single digits. This is correlation, not proof of causation (brands that invest in TikTok may also invest more everywhere), but the gap is large.

Brands with a TikTok Shop presence grew Amazon revenue about 22% year over year,
versus flat mid-single digits without one

Spillover per view. SmartScout cites Euka tracking one brand that generated roughly $16,000 in spillover Amazon sales per 1 million TikTok Shop views, and another that generated $6.70 in off-platform revenue for every $1 of TikTok Shop GMV over 90 days. These are single-brand case examples, not benchmarks.

Cross-channel influence. SmartScout cites Fospha research finding that 42% of Amazon sales are influenced by non-Amazon channels such as TikTok, Meta, and YouTube.

The infrastructure is converging. TikTok Shop documented Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment access through nine integration apps on August 6, 2026, and on September 24, 2026 Amazon published multichannel selling tools that connect eBay, Shopify, TikTok, and Walmart accounts inside Seller Central.

A TikTok trend generates search demand on Amazon, Walmart, and Google, and that demand lands on whatever listing is there. If the Amazon detail page, the Walmart item page, and the TikTok Shop listing describe the product differently, the shopper who arrives from a creator video meets a different story than the one that sold them. AI assistants on each surface also read these pages, and contradictory facts across surfaces weaken the confidence any assistant can place in a brand's claims.

Operations now decide visibility

On TikTok Shop, operational performance is a visibility input, not just a service metric.

Shop Performance Score (SPS). TikTok's US Academy guide, published June 22, 2026, defines SPS as a 0–5 rating built from six metrics across three dimensions: product satisfaction, fulfillment and logistics, and customer service. A shop needs 30 delivered orders in 90 days to receive a score, and newer orders are weighted more heavily. If the product satisfaction score falls below 1, the overall SPS is adjusted to the lowest of the three dimension scores. TikTok describes SPS as rewards-based, unlocking benefits such as affiliate and campaign eligibility; some benefit tiers require an SPS of 4.0 or higher, and PPC Land reports that Countdown Bidding requires 2.5 or higher. Separately, the Account Health Rating (0–1,000 over 180 days) governs policy compliance, and TikTok advises keeping it above 150 to avoid restrictions.

The product satisfaction metrics, including the negative review rate and the non-buyer-fault return and refund rate, link directly to listing accuracy. A listing that overpromises, or a creator who does, produces returns and one-star reviews that lower the score, which in turn limits affiliate access and visibility. Content quality and operational quality are the same loop.

“Content quality and operational quality are the same loop.”

Fulfillment: a conflict to flag. In early 2026, TikTok Shop announced that Seller Shipping would be phased out for US sellers between February 25 and March 31, 2026, with all orders moving to TikTok Shop Logistics Services: Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT), Upgraded TikTok Shipping, or Collections by TikTok. Sellers onboarding on or after February 9, 2026 were required to use TikTok logistics from the start. However, 3PL Center, in an article last updated September 16, 2026, reports that TikTok told sellers the mandate was paused and that existing fulfillment setups could continue. PPC Land's September 2026 coverage still describes the February 25 deadline as a requirement. Current obligations can only be confirmed in Seller Center. What is clear: TikTok Shop Academy documented Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment as an approved route on August 6, 2026, through nine apps including Pipe17 and CedCommerce, which lets brands fulfill TikTok orders from existing FBA inventory. For per-unit costs, 2026 fee guides citing TikTok's FBT rate card put fulfillment at $3.58 per unit for single-unit orders and $2.86 per unit for multi-unit orders in the 0–4 lb range.

The economics: thinner than the GMV suggests

Cost layerTypical rangeNotes
Referral fee8% for most US non-food categories since August 4, 2026 (reported); select beauty sub-categories reported at 9.5–11%; food reported near 5–6%TikTok's public category table still shows mostly 5–6%; Seller Center is the authority
Payment / transaction fee~2% plus $0.30 per order in some guides; others say processing is includedSources conflict
Affiliate commissionCommonly 5–30%Set by the brand; higher rates win creator attention
Fulfillment$3.58 per unit (single-unit) or $2.86 (multi-unit) for 0–4 lb FBT orders, per guides citing TikTok's FBT rate cardVaries by size, weight, and program
AdsGMV Max and other spendGMV Max will factor commissions, coupons, and referral fees into optimization

Dashboardly's worked example shows the stack: on a $25 product, an 8% referral fee, 2% payment fee, and estimated FBT cost total about 22% of the sale price; adding a 20% affiliate commission takes the total to about 42%. Delzonic notes that a two-point referral-fee increase removes about 8% of profit per unit on a typical product, because the fee applies to the full sale price while costs stay fixed. Moneywise's coverage of TikTok Shop's Q1 2026 results notes that its impulse-driven shopping may rely heavily on discounts, which could squeeze margins over time, and eMarketer warns the model may add pressure on brands' resources and margins as they lean on promotions and commissions.

Returns add to the picture. Product-satisfaction-driven refunds feed SPS and erode margin at the same time.

Brand control: D2C, distributors, and resellers

A brand does not need a D2C operation to be on TikTok Shop. It can sell directly, authorize a distributor or agency, or, by doing nothing, leave the space to resellers. That last outcome is where many retail-led CPG brands currently sit by default.

Unauthorized resellers and counterfeits. TikTok Shop's US Intellectual Property Policy prohibits counterfeits, knockoffs, and the unauthorized display of brand names, logos, or trademarks in product images, descriptions, livestreams, or videos. Rights owners report infringement through the Intellectual Property Protection Center (IPPC), and brand-protection vendors describe a Real IP Owner Program that gives verified rights holders priority takedowns. TikTok Shop's open third-party model enables catalog growth but also lets unauthorized sellers list alongside legitimate products. Market-intelligence tools such as SmartScout now show which sellers carry a brand's products on TikTok Shop, including unauthorized resellers. A brand without a registered presence has neither control over its listings nor the standing to fix them quickly.

Buy Direct widens the gap. Buy Direct requires the brand to be merchant of record and to integrate via UCP. That works for brands with D2C infrastructure on platforms like Salesforce Commerce Cloud or Shopify. Brands whose ecommerce runs mainly through retailers, with brand.com as a content site, have no natural path into Buy Direct. As TikTok pushes checkout into the For You feed, D2C-capable brands gain a new direct channel, with customer data, while retail-led brands rely on TikTok Shop (often through distributors) and on spillover to retailers.

The problems brands face

  1. 1.

Discovery is moving off retailer sites. TikTok trends shape demand that converts on Amazon, Walmart, and in store. Brands that are absent from TikTok Shop don't avoid the channel; resellers and creators define their product there instead.

  2. 2.

The listing has two jobs, soon three. It must rank in TikTok Shop search and the Shop Tab, and it must supply the facts Shopping Assistant answers from. Agentic checkout via UCP adds a third reader that needs structured price, inventory, and checkout data.

  3. 3.

Cross-surface consistency is harder than ever. Amazon, Walmart, brand.com, and TikTok Shop listings are often maintained by different teams, agencies, or distributors. Amazon's 75-character title limit, in effect since July 27, 2026, and TikTok's emphasis on long, keyword-rich titles pull the same product in different directions. Contradictions confuse shoppers and weaken AI assistants' confidence on every surface.

  4. 4.

Claims risk is distributed across creators. In supplements, oral care, OTC, and personal care, the words that sell a product are often written by affiliates, and those words may be indexed.

  5. 5.

Economics are thinner than GMV implies. Referral fees, commissions, fulfillment, ads, discounts, and returns can consume a large share of revenue.

  6. 6.

Operational readiness is a visibility input. SPS and Account Health directly gate affiliate access, campaigns, and exposure.

  7. 7.

Measurement is incomplete. TikTok's own off-site measurement tool reportedly excludes Amazon, Walmart, and offline stores, which is exactly where much of the spillover lands.

Where the advantage is shifting

  1. 1.

From presence to governance. Brand registration and IP enforcement now determine whether a brand or its resellers define the product on TikTok Shop. Registered brands can remove unauthorized listings; unregistered brands are represented by whoever lists first.

  2. 2.

From creative to catalog. As the Shop Tab and Shopping Assistant grow, complete attributes, consistent variant names, full image stacks, and titles that match shopper language carry weight that video alone does not.

  3. 3.

From single-surface copy to one product truth. Ingredients, claims, sizes, usage, and certifications that agree across Amazon, Walmart, brand.com, and TikTok Shop give every AI assistant the same facts to cite. Format and length vary by surface; the facts underneath do not.

  4. 4.

From briefing creators to governing claims. In regulated categories, the brands with approved claims libraries and monitoring of creator captions and scripts are the ones whose searchable product language stays compliant.

  5. 5.

From D2C as optional to D2C as an access path. Buy Direct rewards UCP-ready commerce stacks. Retail-led brands reach TikTok demand through TikTok Shop and through the Amazon and Walmart pages that catch the spillover.

  6. 6.

From service metric to ranking signal. Negative review rates, non-buyer-fault returns, dispatch performance, and chat satisfaction now shape affiliate access and visibility, and listing accuracy drives several of them.

  7. 7.

From GMV to contribution margin and halo. With the full fee stack applied, TikTok Shop's value for many CPG brands sits as much in branded-search lift and velocity on Amazon and Walmart as in TikTok Shop sales.

  8. 8.

By category, not by channel. Beauty, personal care, supplements, and oral care carry the deepest opportunity and the strictest governance demands. Food and beverage value concentrates in discovery and trial formats. Pet evidence is thin. Alcohol is limited to awareness.

Caveats

All GMV and category figures are third-party estimates. TikTok publishes no official GMV or category data; eMarketer, Momentum Works/Tabcut, NielsenIQ, Charm.io, Colaba, and others use different methods and definitions.

Several key facts are unconfirmed or conflicting. These include Shopping Assistant and Buy Direct geography and timing; the 8% referral fee (reported by independent seller resources but not yet reflected in TikTok's public table); the status of the US fulfillment mandate; and the H1 2026 Shop Tab share.

Ranking-factor guidance comes from practitioners, not TikTok. Claims about title weight, description length, and indexed creator text are agency observations.

Spillover data is correlational or single-brand. SmartScout's Amazon growth comparison does not prove causation, and Euka's examples are individual cases.

Projections are not outcomes. Forecasts such as Circana's 10%-of-retail-by-2028 scenario are possibilities, not trends.
